The GCC eagerly looks forward to their valuable contributions in promoting sustainable practices and verifying environmental attributes. Here’s what you need to know:
Verification Services: Global Sustainability Solutions and Services QFZ LLC is authorized to provide essential verification services for projects within the GCC Program for GHG Scope 1, 2, 3, and 13. From renewable energy projects to waste handling and disposal initiatives, they will be able to meticulously assess the data and documentation.
Existing Projects: For projects already registered with the GCC Program, Global Sustainability Solutions and Services QFZ LLC can verify the actual GHG emission reductions achieved. Their stamp of approval ensures transparency and trust like other GCC Verifiers.
Why Verification Matters
GCC Program relies on rigorous verification processes to maintain its credibility. Here’s why it matters:
Project Registration: Before a project can participate in the GCC Program, it must undergo thorough verification. This step ensures that the project adheres to GCC standards, international practices and contributes meaningfully to climate action.
Approved Carbon Credits (ACCs): Verified projects earn ACCs. These credits represent real emissions reductions and may be traded or used by organizations/Parties to offset their carbon footprints or to meet nationally determined contributions as they meet the stipulated requirements.
