GCC Verifiers are third-party entities that are accredited, either by UNFCCC’s Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) or national accreditation bodies in respective countries as per ISO 14064. They are approved by GCC program to provide verification services for projects intending to be registered with GCC Program and for GHG emission reductions of projects already registered with GCC Program.

Verification of project documentation by approved GCC Verifiers is a pre-requisite for project registration and issuance of approved carbon credits (ACCs) under the GCC Program. To this end, GCC Verifiers play a key role in ensuring the verity of emission reduction claims made by project owners”.
