SustainCERT SA Joins GCC as 18th Verifier, Enhancing Climate Action Verification

The Global Carbon Council (GCC) is pleased to announce the addition of SustainCERT SA as the 18th verifier in its network. As part of GCC’s extended verifier network, SustainCERT SA is expected to uphold the high standards of credibility and transparency verifying carbon emission reduction projects.

SustainCERT SA has successfully undergone GCC’s comprehensive evaluation process, meeting the stringent criteria under the ISO track. This approval qualifies them to deliver critical verification services for both newly submitted projects and those already registered with the GCC Program.

The official certificate of approval was presented to SustainCERT SA during a special ceremony held at COP29 in Azerbaijan on November 14, 2024. This inclusion marks a significant step in GCC’s efforts to expand its verifier network, reinforcing its role in supporting global climate action.

GCC remains steadfast in its mission to drive environmental integrity in carbon markets. Apart from integrating new verifiers into its ecosystem, GCC sets benchmarks for accountability and transparency, as verifiers play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of carbon credits.
